Founder
SALVADOR B. BELARO JR.
Atty. Salvador B. Belaro Jr. obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Cum Laude) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines. While at the UP College of Law, he was elected as Class President, was a member of the Editorial Board of the Philippine Collegian, and was Captain of a university debating team. He also holds a Master of Laws degree from the Ivy League ( Cornell University, New York) and is a member of both the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and the American Bar Association, Section of International Law and Practice.
Before founding the Firm, he was a Senior Associate of one of the premier law firms in Manila. He is also a former faculty member of the Ateneo de Manila University where he taught Intellectual Property Rights, and of the University of the Philippines, where he lectured on Political Science, Political Philosophy, and Philippine Government and Politics.
While he started his practice in the areas of general litigation and corporate law, he soon diversified his practice area to include international and cross-border transactions, international trade, intellectual property, immigration, real estate, and science and technology law. His expertise in the latter was recognized when he was named as one of the Philippines’ 1985 Ten Outstanding Youth Scientists for his paper on the environmental effects of a local vine. Currently, he renders legal services to domestic, foreign, and multinational corporations. With the opening of the Firm’s affiliate office in Hongkong, he recently expanded his services to company formations outside the Philippines, especially those in Hongkong, China, British Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.
He is also well-published, locally and internationally. He is a former Correspondent of the Manila Times where he covered government financial institutions. Atty. Belaro is also an entrepreneur. He founded the Galleon Trade Pan Pacific Ventures Corp., a trading company, and the King's Visions Printing and Publications, Inc., which published his book "Legal Forms for Entrepreneurs". He also established the Galleon Trade Center, a mixed-use commercial center in Caloocan City which contains a wet and dry market and commercial spaces for lease. His latest venture is the operation of a lotto outlet.
